Hi all!

The next Clay Carnival will be held from November 30 - December 2, 2007, in Las Vegas. Instructors for this year's event are Leslie Blackford, Marla Frankenberg, Cathy Johnston, Donna Kato, Sue Kelsey, Jacqueline Lee, Karen Lewis (Klew), and myself. We're happy to have Klew back with us this year and we're so excited to have Marla joining us for the first time!

As always, each guest will receive a total of 24 hours of instruction from eight instructors who will rotate to each classroom. And, of course, the greatly anticipated poker chip swap, pizza party, the carnival games where EVERYONE'S a winner, and the fabulous door prizes are all a part of this year's event as well. Bring your pasta machine and a few tools, and we'll supply the clay.

Also in the works for October 26 - November 2, 2008, the Clay Carnival heads to the high seas! That's right, we'll be taking the Carnival onto the Carnival! This 7-day cruise on the Carnival Legend will depart from Tampa, FL and ports-of-call will be Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize (my personal favorite), and Costa Maya. We've been thinking about this since the Carol Duvall cruise in 2005 and decided it would be a great way to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Clay Carnival. There's plenty of Carnival frivolity planned for the cruise as well.
