 Book 5 in the Christi Friesen Beyond Project series will debut in Manhattan with a book release party on April 11, 6:30pm.
Christi Friesen's book series has a lot of fans among the polymer clay
community. Her next book promises to continue to please. Entitled
"Down Under", the theme of the book is Australian plants and animals,
and features a koala mother and baby wall piece, Aborigine-inspired
designs, a platypus pendant and more.
This book will be unveiled (or is it un-boxed?) at a special party, hosted at The Compleat Sculptor, a prestigious sculpture store and workshop center in Manhattan. This will be the first opportunity to get this book, since online sales will not be available to ship until the following week - so if you're in the area, come by and get yours first! Christi will be there to autograph copies and give away the special limited edition cards that have accompanied each book.
During the CF Book Party event, raffle tickets will be available to win CF's "Koala In the Bush" sculpture (featured in the book) to be given away that evening. But wait, there's more! As a special incentive to attend, anyone who wears or brings a polymer clay creation that was "inspired by CF" will receive a free raffle ticket, and chances to win additional prizes as well.
