Jewelry Pas de Deux with Jeffrey Lloyd Dever PDF Print E-mail
Written by Jeff Dever

Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Gatilinburg, TN

This workshop combines two of Jeff’s most sought-aftertechniques, miniature hollowware and reinforced armature forms.  Over the course of this multi-day class you will explore an array of small-scale jewelry forms and shapes employing this rare combination of techniques. Together, through clay layering and multi-cycle curing, you will build small pieces of your own design suitable for jewelry application for use as beads, pins, or pendants.  Surface ornamentation and finishing techniques will be demonstrated and discussed as time allows.  This is a technique workshop, not a project-specific class; therefore students need a basic working knowledge of polymer clay or prior approval of instructor.

This is Jeff's only class scheduled for 2009.

The dates are April 5 - 11, 2009. Registration is online at www.arrowmont.org.
