EDGE at Edmonds Community College PDF Print E-mail
EDGE - a professional development program for artists

This program is designed to help artists navigate the business world successfully with the skills and resources they need to do what they love.

Instruction covers everything from creating a professional portfolio and business organization to legal issues such as contracting, licensing, copyright law and tax topics. Content areas also include instruction on building a resume, artistic statement, credentials, self promotion, marketing, submissions and avenues for exhibition, grant opportunities and much more.

The EDGE program includes presentations by professionals in the field providing the real inside scoop for how each system works and how to make that system work for you. This is a 50 hour training program.

"I'm very excited to be involved in developing and presenting this innovative program at Edmonds Community College. Training in this program has been extremely valuable for me and I would recommend this program to any artist wishing to gain measurable success from their artistic work."

Meredith Arnold, Program Coordinator
